I Corinthians 1:18 – 2:8

Hear how the preaching of the cross became the power of God and exceeded everything before it, even the law and other commands God required. We examine every mention of the cross in scripture and show that “the preaching of the cross” is unique to Paul, and is become the power of God. We determine why Paul and Isaiah both said to Glory in the Lord alone, and why only Paul preached glorying in the cross.

We use the Bible to define the four things Paul tells us God has made Christ to them that are in Him:

Wisdom: is the knowledge of God’s Will
Righteousness: is doing God’s Will
Sanctification: is being set apart unto God
Redemption: is being purchased by Christ’s Blood

We determine who the “princes of this world” are, and begin to examine whether or not there might have been a secret, or a mystery revealed to Paul that would have literally changed their mind about crucifying Jesus Christ.
