Romans 4:1 – 5:11 Join us as we examine Abraham’s belief, the difference between a work and an act of faith, the perils of a works based model for salvation, tribulation and comfort, justification and atonement, the source of suffering, chastening and correction, God’s grace, and our hope in the glory of God.
This week we study through Romans 1:18 – Romans 4:12, examining God’s revelation from “faith to faith”, following your last order first, and the plight of the lost man, the Jew first, and also the gentile.
Find out about the Law of Moses, the Law of Conscience, and the Law of Christ. We’ll discuss who Paul was talking about when he alluded to those who “work good”, and “doers of the law.” We’ll also address the question of the man who never heard of Jesus, and the purpose of the law. We’ll define “propitiation,” and then walk the Romans Road.
