This week we look deeper into the operation of God’s grace, the law and the signs that accompany it, and charity that never fails.

Is it possible to attain a perfect understanding of the Bible? Should we even ask if it’s possible? Did anyone in the Bible ever suggest it is possible? We’ll look at the culmination of God’s plan to save the world and how grace is higher than the law and all the signs that accompanied it. We’ll discuss how God, always acting in good faith has brought about the effectual dispensation of his grace, and our walk in it.

We examine sin, realizing that just falling short, missing the mark, and a mere lack of understanding are the sins for which we must die. We then look at the admonition in Acts to obey God rather than men, Paul’s invoking his citizenship to avoid imprisonment, and Artaxerxes’ tax exemption for Ezra’s expedition to rebuild Jerusalem.

We then study through the concept of the wise servant and being a good steward; both how it’s preached and what’s actually contained in the scriptures. We take another look at how going to the parables, like most of what Jesus taught during his earthly ministry for spiritual application is fraught with peril. Hear how so many of the Bible passages we have hear preached have been preached by salesmen for their own bellies and not consistent with the words on the page.

Finally, hear the story of how the word “charity” appears, or does not appear in modern English translations, some thoughts on the concept of sacrificial giving, charity out of a pure heart and our obligation to encourage walking by faith in the Spirit and never obscuring grace, or sin!
