We study Judges 19 and the story of the Levite and his concubine by way of Judah being assigned responsibility for Jerusalem despite it being in the land of Benjamin. We ask if this is the same Levite from Judges 17 and 18, and how trying to discover that fact relates to 2 Timothy 3:16 and the value of all scripture for instruction in righteousness. We also cover why baptizing new believers in water is detrimental to their spiritual health, and why believers today must be instructed away from works of the flesh and toward learning to operate the righteousness of Christ given to them when they believed by the Spirit and the power of Christ, which is the Word of God.
