Conservative Talk – The Weekly Worldview: ‘neath the Veneer
One day we’ll live in an America where every mom is a hero, and every little girl knows she’s precious. But for now, we’re stuck here. So stick with me y’all… we’ve got a lot of work to do…
Massachusetts Schools are considering Moslem holidays as French anti Semites riot, Jews can’t build apartment buildings, Drones gain favor with the good guys (and the market) and the whole world careens toward president Obama’s anti-colonial crack-up!
Carrie Fisher puts up her bona-fides for a political career, while congressmen and their aids make money on the destruction of the free market. Carl Paladino & Valerie Jarrett bow before the homosexual mafia, while the LPGA tries to sort the boys from the men… from the girls.
And despite the offer of school holidays, the Moslems insist on hand chopping while Chilean miner infidelity is anything but minor.
All this plus a fine if you don’t behave like a prisoner, people emerging from 20 years in the freezer and the death of Columbus Day. Give a listen to the podcast and lift the thin veneer with us…

Your story about jumping into the Columbus Day Parade was pretty funny, and it brought a thought to my mind. It was the same thought I had while on Google Earth and looking at satellite photo of tall building in a Japanese city with a soccer field on top of it: “You gotta have a lot of balls to do that.”
I didn’t even know there was a parade on Columbus Day. Nor did I have the day off. Nor did I care. I’ve never appreciated Columbus Day because it fed into the lies that everyone in Europe thought the world was flat because it supposedly said so in the Bible, and ignored the fact that the Vikings (and others) had been coming to America for 100s or a 1000 years before Columbus. I even heard from a young earth creation speaker that there was evidence that Africans were trading with South Americans 1000s of years ago. But you made a good point about Columbus’ re-discovery being a gift from God as it gave Christians the opportunity to worship Jesus Christ freely in America, without persecution, allowing Christianity to flourish and saving the souls of millions.
