*The prophetic program for Israel prophesied by the Old Testament prophets, Jesus, and 12 Apostles starting with Abraham and going to the end of the world, as I understand it, goes like this:
Israel would be a nation of priests (Ex 19:6, Isa 66:21, 1 Pet 2:5-9, Rev 1:6. Rev 5:10). Their Messiah would come through their physical line (Gen 17:17, 28:14, 49:10 – fulfilled in Luk 3:34, 2 Sam 7 12-13 Fulfilled in Mat1:1). Messiah would die for Israel’s sins, (Isa 52 & 53:7 Psa 22), be buried 3 days (Hos 6:2, Mat 12:40) and rise again (Psa 16:10, Psa 22 19-21, Mrk 9:30-32, Mat 17 22-23). He would give them His Holy Spirit, (Isa 32:15, 44:3, Joe 2:28) and send them out to preach His Kingdom to the world (Isa 66:19, Mt 24:14). Their preaching would lead to persecution (Zec 13:9, Mat 24:9) the rise of the Antichrist (Dan 11:36, Mat 24:15) then Messiah’s second coming, (Rev 19: 11-15, Zec 14:16, Mat 24:2) to destroy his enemies at the battle of Armageddon (Zec 14:3, Rev 16:13-16, 19:19), and then to bind Satan and reign over the world from Jerusalem for 1000 years (Mic 4:4, Isa 2:4, Rev 20:6) before finally releasing the devil for one final, short season (Rev 20:7), proving man’s inability to overcome sin and death & the devil’s inability to defeat the Lord, & establishing the Lord’s authority to finally judge all things. Then the end of this universe (Isa 34:4, Rev 21:1), the Great White Throne Judgment of the lost (Rev 20: 11-15), and the creation of a new heaven and a new earth (Rev 21).
