Bible Study: Titus Part II – Conclusion
Titus 1:15-3:15
We’ll examine what the scripture means by the pure being pure in all things and the defiled and unbelieving being reprobate in all things. We’ll compare the religious “religionist” with Cain. Then we look at how good behavior arises out of sound doctrine, and why Paul refers to “good works” more in Titus that anyone, in any other book of the Bible.
Discover why Paul reveals that wives must be taught to love their husbands and children. We answer the question of whether or not a lost person can love others with a scriptural treatment of love and hate.
We’ll ask and answer: were all sins forgiven at the cross? And what does it mean God that is “reconciling” the world to Christ, versus the state of “being” reconciled? What is a “foolish question?” What is a heretic and how do we know when to reject him?
And finally our exhortation to you, to study the word and pray for the Spirit to lead you into good works as necessary so that your ministry can bear the fruits of the Spirit in your inner man, and that you might be an attractive adornment of sound doctrine, and an effective ambassador of God’s grace.
