Bible Study Job, Satan & the Destiny of Man

This week we begin our study at Job 1 with some thoughts on the historicity, geography, and ethnicity of the book and it’s characters. We then encounter satan in the presence of God, and we ask, “why wasn’t satan defeated and destroyed a long time ago”? And, “why was he still allowed in heaven?” In answering these questions we explore the nature of Israel as they relate to Earth, and the Body of Christ as it relates to the heavens. We examine the principalities, thrones and powers in the heavenlies; and and the crowns, rewards, and destiny of the Body of Christ, the heavens and the Earth.

Weekly Bible Study Grace & Law Part I

Why do we prefer law over grace? This week we begin an examination of the history of grace and law in scripture. We’ll define grace and law, then cover grace and law in then garden with God’s first commands to eat and be fruitful, with Adam and Eve, in the modern church, with satan, with Cain, with Enoch, with Noah, and with Abraham. We’ll also cover the number one topic of all human conversation for all time, and how so many of the kings of Israel and Judah walked.

Weekly Bible Study Genesis 3 The Fall Part II

This week we study Genesis Chapter 3:8-19 covering for sin (sin makes you stupid), God’s knowledge in the Garden, the grammar of masculine and feminine, righteous lies, sin, fear and shame, laying the groundwork for salvation, God’s immediate and deferred judgments against Satan, Adam and Eve, sin as a euphemism, and God changing the situation for the benefit of His friends.
